Downloading and Installing PlaneX
Please download the freeware version of AcceX.
After downloading
- Put the zip file in a temporary sub-directory and uncompress it using a tool such as Winzip. You will find one file :
- AcceX 97.0f.xla - The Excel add-in macro (the name will vary depending which version you have downloaded).
- Copy the AcceX add-in file (AcceX 97.0f.xla) to a subdirectory on your hard disk, for example c:\msoffice\excel\library.
- Start up Excel and go to the ‘Add-ins’ option under the ‘Tools’ menu.
- Select the Browse option and move to the subdirectory in the window that appears.
- Select "AcceX 97.0.xla" from the available add-ins.
- The Add-ins option can now be closed with AcceX installed on the Toolbar (will only be visible when a workbook is open).
Successful installation of AcceX will result in the AcceX menu appearing between Window and Help on the Excel menubar.
If ProjeX has already been installed then AcceX appears under that menubar entry.
